Then there is the work of assisting the contractor and trades working on the project; Things can and probably will veer off course a little and having someone in your corner to make informed design calls can really save your reno from looking like a disaster When hiring a designer all of this is taken care of for you. Not to mention you can usually get designer discounts too. So, whats included? *Initial consultation *Room layouts *Assistance on choosing and purchasing all furniture pieces. *Assistance on choosing and purchasing all light fixtures, accessories and area rugs. *Assistance in choosing and ordering all wall and window dressings. *Itemized charts with all products to be purchased. *Room mockups/mood boards for visual understanding. *Meetings to place items in their designated areas. *Meetings to discuss the project at any time.(These are usually done via email, phone) The Cost?
